World Record Basketball Shot Will Make You Say Dam

Kids set a new world record basketball shot in Tasmania. It was a devil of a shot too.

Shoot baskets is always a fun experience outside. No matter what the condition, as kids, you just adapted. If there was snow on the ground, you wore a coat. If you wanted to shoot from far out, you might have to go up a grassy knoll.

At that point, that became the competition. Is your skill at shooting good enough to overcome the obstacles. Oh, and God help you if you were shooting with a friend.

That might have been a part of the conversation recently in Tasmania. The Australian sports channel called How Ridiculous commissioned this basketball trick shot. It ended up breaking the previous world record for the tallest basketball shot. When dealing with height, it's best to start on a Dam. They went to Gordon Dam, and it must be windy near the bottom. Check out the last 20 feet of the shot.

Oh, and by the way, trust me when I say, everyone of the kids on that Dam tried to match the shot.
