I watched the movie "Up" and was shocked at how it starts. Usually the tears don't start to flow until the end of the movie, but not "Up". They kicked you down right away.

I guess they had an ex drill sergeant as it's writer or something. He wanted to destroy you early, then build you back up. Hence the title I guess.

I stuck with it, because I'm not a quitter and, well,

Laughed my butt off. I can't pass a dead rodent on the road and not yell "Squirrel!" to this day.

The movie did it's job and made me laugh and cry, just not in the order I expected.

The grandparents of Jason Lyle Black seem to relate to the couple in the beginning of the movie, having been together most of their lives. They celebrated their anniversary by playing the iconic music from the movie. Let's just hope their happiness last a little longer.
