Everyone loves a frisky puppy!

I know I do. Early on, Walter brought in a quiet, gentle and timid pup who promptly peed on both Walter and myself. Neither of us deserved that, we were only trying to comfort the little dog.

No, we love the active dogs. The expressive, affectionate ones. Nodisrespect to the quiet ones but the friskier the puppy, the more loving the dog may truly be.

Case in point, this little mixed-breed named Dasher. He lived up to his name, dashing towards each of us in the studio looking for attention.

Temple Animal Services is located at 620 Mama Dog Circle in Temple, just of 31st Street and Avenue H. To learn about adopting this sweet little dog or one just right for you and your family, click here for the City of Temple Website. They also have GIFT CERTIFICATES so your loved one can pick out the perfect pet of their own.

Be sure to join us every Friday morning on K101.7 when Temple’s top Animal Services officer Walter Hetzel joins us in studio with another furry friend.

Our weekly segments with our pets of the week are brought to you by Rescue Magazine. All of the animal agencies in central Texas are represented in this publication including Temple’s Animal Shelter.
