It was a weird time on the charts on this day in 1976.

As the U.S. was preparing to celebrate it's 200th birthday, ABBA made a statement by kicking off Queen from the number one spot in U.K. charts. It seems everyone wants a piece of the U.K.

Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" had held the number one spot for 9 weeks until the world started singing "Mamma Mia". Seems fitting that the new number one was Mamma Mia, since Queen has a line of Mamma Mia's in their song as well.

It was on this day in 1969 that the Beatles performed their famous rooftop concert on the roof of Apple Records in London. They got out a few songs before the bobbies shut them down. Turned out to be the Beatles last public performance.
