Dave and I were talking Tuesday, about things that look easy in the movies but are really hard in real life.

Reddit started the discussion for us, people came up with things like, digging holes.  Which is really true, especially in this hard Texas soil!  We have caliche, hard clay stuff, and rocks.  We don’t get to dig through soft dirt like those movie people.

If you believe the movies, it is super easy to hot wire a car.  And what about taking a punch, or throwing a punch, nobody ever breaks a hand!  They just bruise the knuckles and shake it off!   Why, on screen you could have a knock down drag out fight that would put you in the hospital for several days if it were real.

Which brings us to these wonderful people, Honest Action.  They showed  movie fights to real medical personal, and had them analyze the injuries.

First up, Bruce Willis in "Die Hard".

The Verdict?  John Mclane, dead 4 times over, I figured as much!
