National Day of Unplugging

I don't know anybody that can take part in this celebration. Maybe the Amish!

Who doesn't use a computer at work?  Well maybe the plumber doesn't.  Anyway a website called REBOOT came up with this idea.  Don't use any of your necessary devices for 24 hours. It starts tonight and goes til sundown on Saturday.  Like that Papa John's kid says, "Are you kidding me?"

I need my cell phone, I have to use this computer for my show, and the rest of my job.  I wish I could participate. I wish I could be like these people who took the unplugged pledge!

These people and hundreds of others are taking part.  They will not get on facebook, they will not tweet, they will not text. They will talk, and read and knit, and play and actually have some human contact for 24 hours.

Oh how I WISH I could join them!

Maybe you can, after you finish reading this.  Go to the Unplugged website, they have all kinds of things to do, instead of what I am doing.  Take a break. Get unplugged!

I can participate when I retire!
