Bat Dad And Temper Tantrum Mom Need A Dave Award For Best Parents In The History Of Ever!

I'll come right out and say it, I'm a terrible terrible parent. I haven't the vaguest idea or clue as to what I'm doing and more probably than not my children are gonna grow up to be bank robbers, horse thieves or far right wing spear carriers. Or Bronson Pinchot. Whichever.  However there are parents out there who, much to my intense jealously, have cracked the parenting nut with grace and a fantastic sense of humor, instead of resorting to intense red faced rage and angry sailor yelling, like me. First, I'd like you to lay your eyes on Bat Dad. This guy took a cheap mask, a bargain basement Christian Bale growl and parlayed them into appearances on television, a possible book deal and Vine Super Stardom. I love this fiercely. And want to be him.

And then we have this young lady. How do you deal with your kids tantrums? Throw a bigger tantrum? Lose your mind? Nope. She went full lip sync on the situation and came up with a minor miracle of creative parent fun. Check her out:

So, I think the lesson learned is the ability to pull back from the situation, find the humor in it and proceed from that point, instead of launching the good ship Discipline from the Port Of Pissed Off. Happy Parenting!
