A Three Year Old Endures Racist Comments While Dressed as a ‘Frozen’ Princess

It’s takes a really rotten person to crush a little girl’s dreams. It takes a really, really rotten person to turn her own kids into racist bullies.

The Courier, an Australian newspaper reports 3-year-old Samara Muir, an Aboriginal girl from outside Melbourne was dressed up as Queen Elsa from “Frozen” for a children’s event at a shopping center. She was standing in line with her Mom waiting to get into the snow pit when strangers, a mother and two daughters told her she was too dark to be Elsa. Samara's mother, Rachel Muir, wrote about the incident on her Facebook page,

The post went viral, and people from all over the world sent messages of support for Samara.  In Adelaide, hundreds of miles away from Samara's hometown, the 3-year-old was named Queen Elsa of Australia in a Facebook competition.

The news keeps getting better, according to The Courier, Australian rapper Adam Briggs has invited  Samara to be in his new music video.

And Samara got a special message of support from Elsa herself. (The actress who plays Queen Elsa at Disney World).

So nice to see the world respond to help a three year old see that no matter what color you are, you can still be a princess!
