Your Wednesday K-101.7 SONG OF THE DAY!

"Where'd you come from? You sexy thing?"  Actually they came from the U.K. but, oddly most of their two hit success happened here in the states. Strange the path bands and songs take to reach their zenith. This song wasn't even supposed to chart at all; it was the B-side of a record company chosen single nobody remembers. The leader of the band thought otherwise and actually released the song on his own label. Boom: hit.

You just never know. And those who claim to know might actually be talking out of their wazoo.

Due to the songs use in the film The Full Monty, the song re-charted in the U.K. at the same time two more covers were released. So, for one week, the UK Singles Chart contained three versions of the song.
