Your Tuesday K-101.7 Song Of The Day: Eighties Edition
Sad news today on the eighties front. Jimi Jamison, frontman for Eighties rock ouitfit Survivor, passed away August 31 after suffering a heart attack. He was 63. Jamison served as Survivor's second lead singer from 84 until 88, doing the vocals for the band's hits like "The Moment of Truth" from The Karate Kid, "Is This Love," and "Burning Heart" from Rocky IV and the theme song for the TV series Baywatch.
In his honor, we are making Survivor and their '85 hit "High On You" our K-101.7 Song Of The Day.
