Oh, how cruel, the fate of the one hit wonder. And even if you somehow someway score a second hit, you still wind up being the Spin Doctors. It's such a shame. Especially when your big hit is as catchy, sweet and as Beatle-esque as today's case study. And it was produced by ace studio wizard Todd Rundgren. One wonders in cases like this was it the band or the guy behind the board responsible for the hit? Is that why everything else after went off the cliff, never to be heard on the airwaves?
