Why are we playing a song from this band? COS IT'S NEWS WORTHY!  Well here's a band that's been in the news lately. First rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young succumbed to onset dementia and had to leave the band. You have to understand A) he's the brother of lead guitarist Angus Young and 2) he's been in the band from the word inception. Most bands would have stumbled and fallen under such a deep blow. Not our boys from Australia. The show goes on and the released a single from their forthcoming record.

And then, well, it came to light that long time drummer Phil "Not Paul" Rudd may have gone and hired a guy to kill people...allegedly.  Rudd was initially arrested Nov. 5, but then those charges were dropped, though Bunky the stickman still faces charges of threatening to kill someone, and of drug possession and returns to court of Nov. 27, even as AC/DC has moved on with plans for a new album and tour.

AND NOW... AC/DC's 1976 record, "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" , the foundation of many a person's my age rock and roll high school music diet, has found new life, due to all the coverage of the band's drummer wanting to, uh, kill a guy.

Nielsen SoundScan is reporting just under 2,000 download sales of the song in the week ending Nov. 9, up more than 20 percent. Last week marked the biggest sales for 'Dirty Deeds' since April, in fact. So, there you go. Because of all this, we shall now crown the song today's-
