Yeah, feeling funky today. We are headed back to early 1979 and the top of a very cool iceberg, baby.  See, the guy who did this song, Chuck Brown, was known as the Godfather of a type of music called Go-Go. Originating in Washington D.C. of all places, Go-Go  was a unique mix of funk, soul and Latin party sounds. It's sole purpose was to get the party moving.
