Alright the, one time cop Eddie Mahoney changed his name to Eddie Money in the mid-seventies, and Mr. Average Joe Everyman had a new standard bearer...for a while, scoring a pair of giant future classic rock radio fillers. Then it kinda dried up and the eighties came around and what do you freaking know, our man Eddie had a nice, if brief yet still fiery career comeback. He had that one song, "Take Me Home Tonight" that went well, some decent followup hits, then, in '88 this song happened and Eddie and goonball mug rode to the tippy top of the charts yet again.
