Even though he says he is not, trucker David Fredericksen is a hero to at least two people in Mississippi, he saved their lives!

Last Monday David was driving down a highway near Biloxi, when a car in front of him hit a truck and caught on fire.

David has a dash cam so we can see what he saw when all this happened.  First it seems that folks in the other vehicles are stunned and  nobody is doing anything.  Then David springs into action, jumping out with his trusty fire extinguisher and starts putting the fire out.  Then he realizes there is a woman in the front seat and a baby in the back.   So he pries open the woman's door, pulls her out, and with the help of some other people save the woman and baby.  Turns out it's a grandmother and her grand baby.

By the time police get there about two minutes later the car is completely engulfed in flames. (Why is the cop moving so slow?)

Thanks to David and his fire extinguisher, two people are alive and okay.  The grandmother has a broken leg, but that's the worst of it.  Meanwhile, David says he's not a hero, and claims anybody would have done what he did.  I don't know about that, he is the first one who took action.

And who was that person in the first van on the scene who just drove on past the burning car?  Right after it happened!! Shame, Shame, Shame!
