At a charity gig for the Prince's (Charles) Trust in 1987, George Harrison and Ringo Starr were joined on stage by Elton John & Eric Clapton for "Here Comes the Sun".

Any hope for a Beatles reunion (literally) died in 1980 with the death of John Lennon.  Even with three Beatles remaining until 2001, it was (and is) rare to see the Beatles on stage together.  Harrison would go on two brief tours in the years following this show, but it was quite unusual to see him on stage, even in the name of charity.

Following John Lennon's death in 1980, George Harrison succombed to cancer in November, 2001.  Although Ringo rarely tours and refused to sign merchandise from fans, Paul McCartney remains very busy on the road despite a recent health scare.
