Viral Chewbacca Mask Mom Gets a Surprise from Kohl’s

The Grand Prairie, Texas mom who went incredibly viral over the weekend (135 million views and counting) got even more than she could have ever expected. The video of Candace Payne donning a Chewbacca mask and having the best time with it warmed the hearts of Internet users - nerds or not - with her genuine enthusiasm and joy. She purchased the mask from Kohl's for her birthday and the store upped the ante by surprising her and her family on Saturday.

In her 'reveal', Candace says this is her toy, not her children's - though they of course can play with when she's supervising. So Kohl's decided to bring masks for the whole family as well as $2,500 in Kohl's gift cards and 10,000 rewards points in the store.
