A TV news cameraman in Australia and his friend have hollowed out a van to fit 2 washers and 2 dryers to do  laundry for Brisbane’s homeless. It’s called OrangeSky Laundry.

Yes this is in Australia, they have good ideas there too.

Lucas and Nic retrofitted the van themselves and bought a generator to run the four machines that were donated by sponsors.

The mobile machines can also be plugged in at food and shelter centers,  While food is cooked and eaten, OrangeSky does the laundry for free.

They can do clothes, blankets and other belongings for 10 people in about an hour.

They also visit welfare centers and do laundry there.

The two hope that one day there will be a fleet of laundry vans servicing locations around the country.

Of course they have a website.  We can’t volunteer at OrangeSky here in Texas, but you can donate and then steal their idea for the good ole USA!
