I've been here at the station since 2002. I'm only surpassed by one other person, but she's in the sales department, so she don't count. But, being the person who has been here 13 years the new/newer people ask me to help at weird times.

For example. Today, Anna, our Business Manager asked me if I new where the keys were for the Bread Truck.

For those you who are not familiar with the Bread Truck. It was the vehicle for our now defunct Eagle 101. My old boss used it as a selling point when they were trying to hire me. It got peoples attention every time we took it out to a remote. It was a trip to drive. It had so much play in the steering wheel that you had to swing the wheel from 9 to 3 just to keep it steady.

On one of the first remotes I did with it, the sales person rode along with me. It was at a car dealership in Killeen. Now when I move to a new town I like to explore, so I took the back roads over the Dam. Turns out my sales person was afraid of  heights. It also turns out that the Bread Truck sits up high enough that you can see over and down the dam. It's always a fun time when people freak out on you while your driving. Honestly, do you think grabbing the driver will make you safer? Also, it had no air conditioning, so most of the summer we would drive with doors open. Good Times.

One girl took it to get coffee at Starbucks. She didn't see the height restriction on the drive thru and left a part of the Bread Truck in their parking lot.

Another time the center council popped off doing 60 on 190. The DJ driving it was lucky enough not to lose his feet on that one.

Sadly the truck hasn't moved in 8 years. But since I'm the only one still here that has driven it, I had to try and find the key in this mess.

Mission failed. I did find 3 sets of keys to other vehicles, but not the Bread Truck. If anyone wants to move it they're going to have to tow it.
