Maybe I can go to the Super Bowl after all.  I just heard that ticket prices are going down!

Nobody really knows why, most folks thought that this would be  the most expensive ticket in Super Bowl history.

No so, at least not now.

ESPN reports that on Friday, nine days before the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks meet at MetLife Stadium, the cheapest Super Bowl ticket was $1,779 on NFL Ticket Exchange, the league's official resale site.

That's $409 cheaper than it was on the site with this many days left last year and $809 cheaper than the year before.

Since the conference championship games ended, ticket prices have steadily dropped. The get-in price on the NFL Ticket Exchange was $2,700 on Monday.

So how come?  Is it the Frozen Tundra of New Jersey?  It could be snowing on Sunday, and very cold.  You know I hate the North wind!  Is it worth 12 hundred dollars to sit out in the cold?

Maybe it’s too far for Seattle and Denver fans to travel, to sit out in the cold.

Of course you could always go for a suite, that is if you started saving the day you were born!   Right now  the cheapest Super Bowl suite is listed at $238,000 and the most expensive, $686,000.  Some are going for over a million.

You know what,  I have my own suite in Killeen, Texas.  It’s nice and warm and I can do laundry while I watch the Seahawks beat the Broncos.   I'm staying Home.
