When I was kid, I thought waffles we're simply something my mom took out of a bag in the freezer marked "Downyflake" and placed in the toaster. Then we went to Waffle House and my mind was blown forever.

Later, I was given a waffle iron as a graduation gift. Again, my lack of imagination became obvious: I rarely used it because it was much easier to buy a bag a frozen waffles and stick them in the toaster. Thankfully, by watching Food Network, I was able to see other people show us what this baby can do.

Last week, I stumbled upon this short video. In order to make up for past sins, namely being a culinary dunderhead, I feel obligated to share here. Enjoy!
