Creative Revenge Movies are my Favorite.  "The Equalizer" is now the best one I have seen in a long time.

I am not the only one who had to check it out.  "The Equalizer" was number one at the box office this weekend taking in $35 million. My pick by the way.  Dave lost again.  He thought "The Boxtrolls" would be number one but it came in third with $17.25 million. "The Maze Runner" was number two with $17 and a half million.

Rounding out the top five, "This Is Where I Leave You", pulled in $7 million, dropping 39 percent to hold onto the No. 4 spot. "Dolphin Tale 2" came in at number five with $4.8 million.

Liam Neeson's latest  "A Walk Among the Tombstones"  dropped out of the top 5, only taking in $4.2 million for number 7.  "No Good Deed" was number 6.  "Guardians of the Galaxy" is still making money, it was number 8, followed by "Let's Be Cops".   "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" was number 10.

Now back to "The Equalizer".  I used to watch the old "Equalizer" TV show with Edward Woodward a long time ago.  Ed played a retired spy who helps people in trouble, for free!

So now it's 2014 and "The Equalizer" starring Denzel Washington is the same premise.

Except Denzel faked his death to escape his spy agency past.  But you can't stay hidden for long when there is a young girl in trouble.

I must say I loved it.  I also must say, after this movie,  I will never look at a Home Depot or Lowe's the same way again.  You gotta see "The Equalizer" to understand what I am talking about.

See it and review it and you could win.
