The Eagles Are Coming to Austin

My husband Keith is so excited, he just found out the Eagles are coming to the Frank Erwin Center in Austin!  This will be his eighth Eagles concert!

Keith is too old to Jump for Joy so Groucho did it for him!

The Eagles will be in Austin Tuesday, May 19 which is a bummer for me since I have to do a show the next morning. Keith does not care. He is dragging me there. "Sleep on the way home", he says.

The Austin concert is part of their “History of the Eagles” Tour.  Can you believe it started almost two years ago?  The Eagles hit the road on July 6, 2013, after the release of that top-selling documentary of the same name. Tim, Glenn, Don and Joe will be there.

Bernie Leadon, who quit back in 1975 will also be part of the show, (at least that is what Keith says).

The concert features classic Eagles’ songs spanning their entire career, including some that have never been performed live.

I know you are dying to know which Eagles song is Keith's favorite.  It's "Ol 55".  He and our son used to sing it when the boy was about 2 years old, while Keith was doing bath time duty.  I have them on video tape but I have no idea how I can play it back and put it in a form for you guys to see. (That was 20 years ago so you can imagine the camera we had then).   I am working on getting it converted into something.   It sounds really cute to hear a two year old with a lisp singing "Ol 55".

Well, we can listen to the Eagles doing 'Ol 55" at the Live Millennium Concert.  The first time they ever did it on stage.  You can listen, you can't see them.  Back then we paid attention to copyrights!
