Once in a blue moon is nothing compared to Once in a Strawberry Moon.

A Strawberry Moon is a full moon on the Summer Solstice. It's very rare. There's some dispute of when the last one occurred as some are claiming it was back in 1967 and others claim it was 1948. Either way, rare will be in the air tonight.

Summer Solstice hits at 5:35 pm Central Time. Sunset is set for 8:36 pm tonight. Grab the kids, and a camera, and snap away at the very rare Strawberry Moon in the Texas sky.
