It seems each state has some type of production. I don't know why I thought Texas would be any different.

I was raised in North Dakota. They have the "Medora Musical". Their neighbors to the south had the "Passion Play" up until 2008.

In Texas, its the "Texas Outdoor Musical", and it opens for the Summer on June 3rd.

It's been seen by over 4 million people. USA Today put it in their "Top 10 Must See Theaters in the U.S."

The Play can be seen at the Pioneer Amphitheatre in the Palo Duro Canyon State Park, just southeast of Amarillo, Texas.  Get your tickets here.
