A couple of weeks ago I was telling you about Matthew McConahay's brother who is an entrepreneur and his show on the CNBC cable network. Today I was made aware of the show featuring Texas Game Wardens called Lone Star Law. Apparently this is part of a plan to ensure that everyone in Texas will eventually get their own cable television show.

Being a game warden is not an easy job because you don't actually get to hunt while you're on the clock.

Seriously, congrats to these guys. New episodes air Thursday night on Animal Planet.

The Department of Parks & Wildlife is on board with this initiative. Officials think the show could bring some positive pub.  There was even a premier at the Paramount theater in Austin, which is a little bit of a drive from the panhandle.
