For some odd reason, people enjoy leaving the luxury of "air conditioning".  Baffles the mind.  But, since some of you do enjoy "the outdoors", freaks, you should take precautions to  be safe.  The Environmental Working Group, or EWG,  has just released its 2013 Guide to Sunscreens.  It rates more than 1,400 sunscreens, lip balms, and SPF moisturizers and cosmetics for safety and effectiveness. Which side is your sunscreen on, the best, or the worst?

The EWG says to avoid large SPF counts.  Reason, it gives you a false sense of security. SPF only refers to the protection against UVB radiation, and not UVA rays, which potentially cause cancer.  They suggest using a lower SPF count and reapply on a regular basis.
