The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued this outlook:

'Here are the storm trends for this evening. A large complex of heavy rain and storms will move toward the Houston area which will shift the showers and storms out of Central Texas gradually. To the north of this rain complex, in the blue shaded area (including much of North Texas) stable and sinking air is occurring which will limit the storm threat through early evening. However, we will be watching the storm activity to the west where the environment is very unstable for severe storms to develop along the dry line and move east into the western parts of North Texas before sunset. These storms may eventually move into the I-35 corridor later tonight.'
