We've had some big dogs in the K1017 studios, ones who could only dream of making their way to the microphone and broadcast console (and a few have tried). Our new friend Pike, on the other hand, is portable enough and pocket sized to go wherever his owner - in this case, his temporary guardian from Temple Animal Services, Walter Hetzel - places him. See for yourself:

Pike is a housebroken chihuahua mix who would make the best lap dog in Central Texas. He may be timid, but he loves human interaction and clings to his human like white on rice. You can take Pike home or find a dog who fits your Texas lifestyle to a T by visiting our friends at the Temple Animal Shelter on the North Side of Mama Dog Circle at Avenue H.
