From the National Weather Service in Fort Worth:

All of the weather data this morning is continuing to point toward a significant severe weather threat developing by early afternoon. Numerous thunderstorms are expected to develop over North and Central Texas starting around midday. The greatest coverage of storms will be just to the east of a Killeen to Waco to Dallas line this afternoon where the severe weather threat looks greatest. The atmosphere is favorable for rotating storms, which has us more concerned about the tornado potential than a typical severe weather event. Please stay informed with the latest weather information this afternoon as this situations continues to develop.
