Russell Schneider Elected Temple Mayor Pro Tem

Temple District 4 Councilman Russel Schneider was unanimously elected to the position of Mayor Pro Tem during a City Council meeting Thursday evening.

Schneider now assumes the role left vacant after District 2 Councilwoman Judy Morales resigned from the position in March of this year. Schneider has previous experience in the position, having served as Temple Mayor Pro Tem from May 2011 to June 2012.

Schneider is co-owner and president of R.T. Schneider Construction, as well as a member of the Temple Chamber of Commerce and the Temple Area Builders Association, where he serves on the Governmental Affairs Committee.
