Phoenix the Dachshund is our Pet of the Week

I would like to introduce you to Phoenix, our Pet of the Week.  Officer Hetzel brought Phoenix out for a visit.  Phoenix is currently staying at the Temple Animal Shelter and he is ready for a new home.

Phoenix is a red, short haired dachshund.  He is neutered, house broken, leash trained and he loves everybody.  You can cuddle up with him for a while, then take him on a nice long walk.  But don't go when it's really hot outside because the hot pavement will burn the pads of his feet.  Officer Hetzel gave us some hot weather tips to keep your dog cool this summer.

You can play with Phoenix at the shelter, then take him home with you, and bring a friend so they can adopt a dog or cat too.
