Phillip Seymour Hoffman Dies at 46

Oscar winning actor Phillip Seymour Hoffman was found dead today in his NYC apartment.  He was 46.

The New York Times and Wall Street Journal are reporting that his death is being investigated by NYC Police.  The Times has also reported that he was found with a syringe in his arm, and what appeared to be heroin in an envelope.

It was reported that the actor had struggled with addiction and had entered a rehab center for heroin use last year.

The first time I remember seeing him in film was in "Twister".

With any good actor the question you have to ask is..."Was he believable?"  Except for "Mission Impossible 3" I thought he was believable in everything I saw him in.  I have to say I was truly shocked when I read about his death.
