Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready has successfully conquered the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in a very creative way -- and now he's challenging several of his fellow rock stars to do the same.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease," is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. The Ice Bucket Challenge asks people to either film themselves getting dunked by ice water or to make a donation to the cause of finding a cure for this disease — and then challenge their friends to get soaked or pay up.

Most of us have probably seen dozens if not hundreds of these videos on their Facebook feeds over the past couple of weeks -- we covered Extreme bassist Pat Badger's soaking a few days ago -- but as you can see above, McCready adds a new degree of difficulty by getting dunked on while riding his skateboard. He then goes on to challenge all of his fellow Pearl Jam bandmates and former Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan to participate in the Ice Bucket Challenge. So far, it looks like Duff's up to the task..
