Paul Simon as Hip as Ever With Appearance on Heaven’s Gift to Hipsters, IFC’s ‘Portlandia’

Hold on to your styled beards and put on your non-prescription eye glasses, because Paul Simon is coming to IFC's "Portlandia".  If I sound as if I'm not a fan of the show, you'd be right.  And I don't understand why.

It's not like I don't want to be a hipster, but I love humor.  Everyone talked constantly about the greatness of "Portlandia", but I couldn't figure out what was so great.  Then it hit me.  There are two types of people that like "Portlandia";  Those that genuinely like the show (hipsters) and those that pretend to looooooove the show (liars).  There's no grey (or is it gray?) area in this one.

Get out your best flannel to wear tucked-in and oil up your beard for some fun with Paul Simon.  The premise itself looks funny enough, but as with the rest of "Portlandia" it comes off as awkward and uncomfortable.  If I wanted something awkward and uncomfortable I'd spend more time with my in-laws (Bazinga!!).
