And we have a new world record for heaviest pumpkin in North America. It was grown in Napa Valley north of San Francisco and weighed in at 2,058 pounds. Have you noticed the bigger pumpkins get the uglier they get?

The man who grew the pumpkin gets $13,348 in prize money.

Something that big can’t just stay in California.  An organization called the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth, will fly the pumpkin to New York this week to be displayed in the city's Botanical Garden, along with two other massive pumpkins from different parts of the country.  Then come the personal appearances.  "LIVE with Kelly and Michael" on Thursday.

So will the Great Pumpkin go to New York where the pumpkin is, or Napa Valley where it grew. Poor Linus he doesn't know which place to stake out!
