Storms will be moving across the area from west to east during the late afternoon, evening, and overnight hours. The storm threats will vary across the region due to the expected storm mode and evolution. The highest tornado and hail threat is northwest of the DFW Metroplex. A transition to more of a line of storms is expected as the activity moves into the I-35 corridor, which means the wind threat will increase while the tornado and hail threat will diminish slightly.
