This is how it should work.*

First off, this needs to be said. There is not a person out in the world who you need to kill. If someone pisses you off so bad that you want to ruin the rest of your life for them, then you need to re-examine your life.

Now, if someone threatens you or your family, then by all means, protect away. But, you really need to think things through on whatever you do.

For example. 48 year old James Jones is the schmuck who, last week, walked in to the Zona Caliente sports bar in Arlington and shot the manager, 37 year old Cesar Perez.

What James didn't take into consideration before he committed murder in a public place was that he was in Texas. Sure it's North Texas, but Texas none the less. Once he pulled the trigger on Mr. Perez, the other customers in the bar realized their lives might be in danger. Protect away.

KXAN reports that, according to Police Lt. Christopher Cook, that's when a fellow customer pulled his concealed handgun and capped Just James Jones. Problem solved.

This is the way it should work for awhile. This way, people will learn that if you have a gun, then someone else might have a gun. And if you're dumb enough to pull it, guaranteed someone else is just as dumb and will pull along with you.

After some time of "learning", we'll see less crime because everyone has a gun.

Sure, we can all dream, but if you plan on ruining your life for someone you hate, remember to think, "Hang on. I'm in Texas. Never mind."

As for the customer who shot the killer, as long as his permit is up to snuff, odds are he won't be charged. He'll just be tagged as a hero.
