Memorial Day 2016 Closures in Temple

Temple City offices and a handful of other places will be closed Monday, May 30 in observance of Memorial Day.

City of Temple offices will be closed on Monday, May 30, 2016, in observation of Memorial Day. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, May 31, 2016.

Emergency services and solid waste routes, to include brush and bulk and the curbside recycling program, will continue to operate without interruption. The Landfill, however, will close at 2:00 p.m.

Animal Services, to include surrenders, reclaims and adoptions, will be closed on Monday and reopen at 10 am on Tuesday.

Temple Public Library will be closed on Monday and will reopen at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

Parks and Recreation Facilities will be open the following hours on Monday:

Summit Family Fitness Center Closed until June 2nd
Sammons Community Center Open 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sammons Park Indoor Pool Closed
Wilson Park Recreation Center Open 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Sammons Golf Links Open 7:00 a.m. - dusk
Walker Pool Open 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Clark Pool Open 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Gober Party House Closed
Blackmon Community Center Closed
Temple Visitor Center Closed
Railroad and Heritage Museum Closed
Clarence Martin Gym Closed
