We've all said it: if there had been other people with guns at a shooting, things may have gone a bit differently. Sadly, this isn't always the case. Sometimes, things go worse.

In Arlington, 22-year-old Ricci Bradden got into an argument with his wife outside the Walgreens where she worked. Bradden, who was stationed at Ft. Hood, shot at her and she ran into the store screaming. That's when customer TJ Antell, 35, went to his truck to retrieve his firearm. Antell, a former Marine, ended up being shot and killed by Bradden who later turned himself into authorities on post.

This poor guy, who owned a crossfit studio nearby with his wife (who was also in the store) was a father, husband, business owner/ He also thought he was Superman and ended up a casualty of a stupid domestic disturbance.

NO ONE is invincible. If you're going to intervene in something which should ordinarily happen non-violently at home (ie., none of your business) with people crazy enough to air their dirty laundry in broad daylight in public, realize the risk you're taking. It may be outside the castle, but the rule applies: if you're going to shoot at the king, you'd better not miss. Especially when it involves the Queen. When it comes to domestic disputes, let the cops handle it.

Condolences to the family of TJ Antell, especially his wife and two young children.
