This smells like "Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire!"  Trending on my Facebook page, a guy who claims one of his KFC Chicken Nuggets was a deep fried rat!

Devorise Dixon  posted this picture of his chicken nugget on his facebook.

He claims he tried to take a bite of it and it was hard and rubbery. Do you see a bite mark?  Neither do I. According to these TV people Fox 59, Devoise talked to a radio station and told them the whole story. He also posted a video, pictures and this comment on his Facebook:

"DON'T EAT FAST FOOD!!! I WENT TO KFC YESTERDAY AND BOUGHT A 3PIECE CHICKEN TENDER. AS I BIT INTO IT I NOTICED THAT IT WAS VERY HARD AND RUBBERY WHICH MADE ME LOOK AT IT. AS I LOOKED DOWN AT IT I NOTICED THAT IT WAS WAS IN A SHAPE OF A RAT WITH A TAIL. IT SENT DEEP CHILLS THROUGHOUT MY WHOLE BODY! I'VE BEEN FEELING WEIRD EVER SINCE. I BOUGHT THIS IN COMPTON, CA ON WILMINGTON AND 120TH. I'VE NEVER SEEN CHICKEN LIKE THIS BEFORE ITS SICK!!"
Here is the video.

Devorise also claims he took the fried rat back to the KFC, they offered him a free meal and he refused, saying he was getting a lawyer instead.

KFC wants to have an independent lab test the thing.  Devorise is hanging on to it.

Look at it!  That looks  like a big ole piece of white meat chicken.  I just have a feeling rats are not white meat.

KFC has released a statement denying it served up fried rat. From the Huffington Post:

KFC says Dixon is misleading the public and that the object in question is just a piece of breaded chicken.

"A customer has made a serious claim against KFC and refuses to cooperate in the investigation," KFC said in a statement sent to The Huffington Post. "Based on this, and the fact that he refuses to allow anyone to see the product, we are left to believe that he intended to deceive the public with this hoax and we are considering all options."

The company said it made several attempts to get in touch with him, but he refused to talk directly or through an attorney.

"Our chicken tenders often vary in size and shape and this just happened to be an oddly shaped one," KFC spokesman Rodrigo Coronel told HuffPost in an email.

Snopes, (the Internet rumour debunkers), just out and out says the fried rat tender claim is FALSE!

Sorry Devorise Dixon, unless you turn the rat chicken over for testing, I don't think you will be getting paid.  If It turns out you made it all up, you could be prosecuted.  You could lose your job!

Come clean Devorise, before it's too late. Rat yourself out!
