Killeen Pedestrian Critically Injured Monday Night

The driver of a car which struck a person walking in the middle of the road Monday night in Killeen says they didn’t see the pedestrian until it was too late.

As reported by Kathleen Serie with our news partner, KWTX, the collision occurred in the area of Sandstone and Littlerock Drive around 9:20 PM. The northbound car struck the pedestrian in a poorly lit area.

The victim reportedly suffered a severe head injury and was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple.
