Less than a week after threats of racial violence were made against students at Killeen High School, Ellison High School Principal David Dominguez sent out an email to parents this morning about another threat made on social media against students at his school.

Both the Ellison High School and Killeen ISD administration have been made aware of unverified comments/ social media posts pertaining to the safety of the school environment. Many in the Ellison Eagle Family have contacted us with this information, and we are grateful for your assistance and support. Comments of this nature, while unverified, are taken very seriously and precautionary measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of the Ellison High School campus. Classes and activities will proceed as scheduled and the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. - EHS Principal David Dominguez

I have a child that attends Ellison High School and according to him, a message began circulating on Thursday night that someone was planning to "shoot up the pep rally" which was to be held on Friday. We'll keep you updated as more information about this story develops.
