Did you make time for National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day? We did!

It's nice to have a radio station that comes with a complete kitchen. The last station I worked for had a kitchen, but all the appliances had broken so we couldn't do fun stuff like bake our own cookies for National Chocolate Chip cookie day! God Bless Texas!

Chocolate Chip Cookies go all the way back to Ruth Graves Wakefield and the year 1924. Ruth is credited as inventing the Toll House brand of Chocolate Chip Cookies after she ran out of bakers chocolate and used Nestle Chocolate bar in the ingredients instead.

It didn't melt into the batter the way Ruth thought it might, and as a consequence the Chocolate Chip Cookie was born!
