If X-Men Were Directed by Wes Anderson [VIDEO]

We live in the golden age of internet fan films. Everything from the Power Rangers to Dragon Ball Z has been given a loving treatment by resourceful fans, but this has to be my favorite so far.

In this video, filmmaker Patrick Wilems and his team reimagine the X-Men as a band of superheroes having more in common with Steve Zissou’s crew than their comic book inspiration. Everything from the timeless and yet nostalgic feel of the sets and costumes to the weirdly rectilinear images politely screams Wes Anderson.

The only downside is that now I really want to see a full movie. Check out the video below and let us know what you think.
