Historic Swiss Alp Dance Hall for Sale on eBay

According to the Austin American-Statesman, the 100+ year old Swiss Alp Dance Hall just south of La Grange is up for bids on eBay. At last check, the bid is up to $82,100 dollars.

As you can see in the photos from Ebay, the Swiss Apl Dance Hall is still in great shape. This historic dancehall is about 70 miles southeast of Austin between Schulenburg and La Grange.

Bob Wills, Johnny Winter, B.J.Thomas, Roy Head and the Traits have all performed at the Swiss Alp, along with the likes of Asleep at the Wheel, Kevin Fowler, Roger Creager, Stoney LaRue!

The Swiss Alp Hall covers a 7,000 square foot rectangular wood framed hall. It's a barn-type structure with a gabled roof. The cafe next door is fully furnished. The dance hall, cafe, and 2 acres of rolling hills are all part of the deal!
