Highway 190 Traffic Shifts to the Rosewood Overpass

You have one more week to get used to the idea that all traffic on US 190 will soon be rerouted to the new Rosewood Overpass.

It all start next Monday.  As Jack Bauer would say. “The following takes place between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.”

June 16:       Various lane closures along westbound US 190 as westbound US 190 traffic shifts to the Rosewood Overpass.

June 17 and 18:    One US 190 westbound lane and one eastbound lane will be closed. Eastbound traffic will remain on the detour route and westbound traffic will use the Rosewood Overpass.

June 19:      There will be alternating eastbound lane closures as eastbound US 190 traffic shifts to the Rosewood Overpass.

After all the shifting is done, all main lane traffic will use the Rosewood Overpass for the rest of the project scheduled for completion in August 2015.

Motorists should pay close attention to construction signage, workers and equipment. Delays should be expected.

Bottom line, be extra careful while everybody gets used to the changes.
