I was chatting with a friend this week about guys looking at girls. I mentioned it on the air: In today's PC world - and it's getting more intense - I get the feeling we are all being encouraged to feel ashamed when an attractive someone walks into our field of vision.

So what do we do, hide our faces? I wear sunglasses for this reason. I don't even want to be misconstrued. Yes, I'm a shy guy.

Honestly, I'm usually oblivious to non-verbal cues. It's partly because I never expect to be acknowledged in return. I'm not the kind of guy who gets pulses racing. It's just the way it is.

With some women, I can understand why they don't want to be looked at, even by non-threatening schlubs like me. It's because other men behave like this...

Wolf whistles. Stalking. That is neanderthal. I so don't want to be any of those men in that video.

There are techniques at making eye contact without being intimidating.

So yeah, it's okay to look. It's natural.

Had these two teenaged dudes not tried to check out a hottie in the back seat of a car, who knows what would have happened.

That's because this woman was being kidnapped.

This is an old story but it just showed up in my feed today - Facebook is reading my mind and that's even scarier - so it's news to me. It also shows the goodness in people here in Texas so it's okay to bring this up again.

Seems the woman left and office party and this dude got her. What kind of world do we live in? Who is this guy? He's even scarier than the men in the top video.

So the moral is, make eye contact, don't be a jerk. I can do that.
