Happy Birthday Play-Doh

Can you believe Play-Doh had been on the market for 58 years?  Were you rich enough to own a Play-Doh Fun Factory?  I don't remember having any Play-Doh accessories in our house.  We had five kids!

To tell you the truth I don't even remember owning any Play-Doh.  But I always wanted some.  So that means my kids got a lot of it, along with the different kits.  And you know what, they were not half as thrilled as I was.

Nowadays they have all kinds of Play-Doh machines trading on brand names from fast food, to toys, to movies.  They even have instructional videos showing kids how to use the kits.  Some of these video are two hours long!

Watch this one and tell me why those are adult hands.  Is this too advanced for four and five year olds?  Why yes it is!

So maybe this stuff isn't just for the pre-school set anymore!  I may just gather my friends together for a Play-Doh Party. Now that we have jobs we can buy all the different kits and share.

And since we are grown and careful we don't have to worry about little bits of Play-Doh ending up in the carpet!
