The secrets are out! Pilots, Flight Attendants, and other airline people are spilling their guts on the secrets of Air Travel.

On the subject of Airline Food... A pilot's son passed this along.  It seems the pilots are not able to eat the same meal. Yes, we did see this in "Airplane", and that is why they can't eat the same meal.  I mean, how disturbed would you be if you walked into the cockpit and seen the flight attendant blowing (phrasing) up the automatic pilot because Victor's vector, Clarence's clearance, and Roger's roger all ate bad fish.

As for landing an airplane...  A friend of a pilot claims that what pilots consider landings are just controlled crashes.  But when it comes to a hard landing, that might not be bad pilots. If you land in the rain, your pilot has to set it down hard. That way the wheels break through any standing water. Lord knows you don't want to start hydroplaning in a plane. It's scary enough in a car.
